We go deeper on your work sample and a GAAP judgment call you’ve made, ask what you’d do if a manager pushed you to book an entry you thought was wrong, and have you explain an accounting decision to a non-finance stakeholder, because translating the numbers is part of the job.

Reference CheckWe’ll have short calls with two references, ideally a manager who oversaw a close you ran and a colleague who worked the reconciliations with you.
