Their phone rings. The notes stay with their application.
Your phone rings first. Answer, and the candidate's phone rings. Your script, notes, and call outcome belong to the same application.
Calling through Twilio is not generally available yet. Logging a call made elsewhere works today.

Call script
What would you want to know before joining the team?
Call notes
Can start in November. Send the team intro before the next interview.
Notes saved to the application
After the call
Call back requested
Log the outcome. Keep the next decision with your team.
From first ring to next step
One conversation. Three places to stay oriented.
The call bar follows you through Kit. The candidate’s name, job, and script stay within reach, including on mobile.
-
Answer your own phone
The number you saved in My calling phone rings first. The candidate is called after you answer.
-
Keep the questions beside your notes
Open the stage’s script, take notes, and check their save status while you talk. Return to the application from the call bar.
-
Leave an outcome your team can find
Record Reached, No answer, Voicemail, Call back requested, or Wrong number. Open the call later to add or correct its outcome.
When recording is enabled
Read the answer. Return to the sentence.
Search the transcript, review answers to your script, and use timestamps to listen again when audio is available. You can edit the summary before relying on it.

Answer to the script
Start date
November, after the payments migration.
Generated summaries can miss details. Check them against the conversation; they do not advance or reject a candidate.
Choices that stay visible
Recording is a choice. Hiring is your decision.
Explain the recording
Choose an announcement or keypad confirmation, subject to the country setting. Whoever makes the call can stop recording.
Set the audio’s retention
Choose a retention period or delete a recording from its call record. Deleting audio leaves the transcript and summary; candidate data retention is managed separately.
Log a call made elsewhere
Enter its time, duration, notes, and outcome without connecting Twilio. No audio is imported.
Bring your own Twilio account
Twilio bills your account for its usage. Generated summaries count against your included AI allowance. This integration does not include calling minutes.
Before the first call
Can I enable Twilio calling today?
Not yet for everyone. Calling through Twilio is not generally available yet; this page previews the workflow. Logging a call made elsewhere works today and does not need Twilio.
Does my candidate need a Kit account or an app?
No. Your saved phone rings first, then the candidate’s phone. This is phone-to-phone calling, not a browser microphone or meeting-room link.
What will my team need?
Your own upgraded Twilio account, credentials, an available caller ID, and permission to call the destination country. Each caller saves the number to ring first. The setup guide covers the connection.
Is every call recorded?
No. Recording can be turned off for an individual call. With keypad confirmation, a candidate can continue without recording. An announcement explains recording, and whoever makes the call can stop it. These controls do not replace your organization’s consent requirements.
Does a callback outcome schedule another call automatically?
No. You can save a callback time, but you start the next call yourself. Reached completes the screening-call stage; advancing or rejecting the application remains a separate decision.
Keep the next call with the application.
