Understand the Compensation Research dashboard — filters, charts, role drill-downs, multi-currency, and board requests.
Why It Matters
The dashboard turns raw job listing data into actionable compensation intelligence. Every chart updates in real time as you adjust filters, so you can answer questions like “What does a senior backend engineer earn in Warsaw?” in seconds.
Filters
All filters auto-submit — select a value and the dashboard updates immediately.

Summary Cards
Four cards at the top of the dashboard show key metrics at a glance:

Salary by Role
Horizontal bar chart showing the salary range (min to max) for each tracked role cluster. The darker band represents the interquartile range (25th–75th percentile). Click any role to drill down into its detail page.
Salary by Technology
Bar chart of the top 15 technologies ranked by median salary. Useful for spotting which tech stacks command premium compensation.
Salary Distribution
Histogram showing how salaries are distributed across price brackets. Helps you understand whether the market is concentrated around a midpoint or spread wide.
Market Trends
Area chart showing median salary movement over time (typically 6 months). Use this to spot whether compensation for your tracked roles is trending up, down, or holding steady.
Top Hiring Companies
Bar chart of companies with the most active job listings. Shows who’s hiring most aggressively in your tracked roles and regions.
Regional Breakdown
Table showing average salary and listing count by region. Columns: Region, Avg. Salary, Listings.
Role Detail Page
Click any role in the Salary by Role chart to open its detail page. This page shows:
- Summary cards — Median, Min Salary, Max Salary, and Total Listings for that role
- Filters — Experience level, employment type, technology, city, and currency
- Listings table — Every matching job listing with sortable columns:

Results are paginated. Use column headers to sort by any field.
Multi-Currency
Switch the Currency dropdown to display all salaries in a different currency. Exchange rates are updated daily from the European Central Bank. Supported currencies: PLN, EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, CZK, SEK, NOK, DKK, HUF.
Currency selection applies to summary cards, charts, and listing tables simultaneously.
Requesting New Job Boards
Want data from a job board Kit doesn’t track yet? Submit a request:
- Click Request Board on the dashboard (or go to Board Requests)
- Fill in the board name, URL, country, role focus, and any notes
- Click Submit Request
Track your requests in the Board Requests list. Each request shows its status: Pending, Approved, or Rejected.
