Billing & Add-ons
How to manage your Kit subscription and enable add-on features like VDP, Compensation Research, and Outreach.
Why It Matters
Kit’s core hiring platform covers job postings, pipelines, and team collaboration. As your needs grow, add-ons unlock specialized capabilities — vulnerability disclosure, compensation benchmarking, and AI-powered outreach — without changing plans. You only pay for what you use.
Managing Your Subscription
Navigate to Account Settings > Billing to view your current plan, payment method, and active add-ons. Only account administrators can manage billing.
From the billing page you can:
- Change your plan — Switch between Starter ($6/seat/mo) and Growth ($12/seat/mo)
- Update payment method — Add or replace your credit card via Stripe
- View invoices — Download past receipts and invoices
- Manage add-ons — Subscribe or remove add-on features
Available Add-ons
Add-ons appear as separate line items on your existing subscription. Each unlocks a distinct module within Kit.

VDP Add-on
The Vulnerability Disclosure Program add-on is for teams that need to receive and manage security vulnerability reports. It includes a public-facing researcher portal, customizable email templates, bounty workflows, and compliance exports. See the Vulnerability Disclosure docs for full details.
Compensation Research
Compensation Research gives you salary benchmarks drawn from live job postings. Use it to set competitive offers, validate candidate expectations, and track market trends. A free 24-hour trial is available before subscribing.
Outreach
The Outreach module automates cold email prospecting. Kit’s AI agent researches each prospect individually and drafts personalized emails for your approval. A free 24-hour trial is available. See the Outreach Overview for the full feature set.
Adding an Add-on
- Go to Account Settings > Billing
- Scroll to the Add-ons section
- Click Add to subscription next to the add-on you want
- Confirm the monthly charge in the dialog
- The add-on activates immediately and appears on your next invoice
The charge is prorated for the current billing cycle.
Removing an Add-on
- Go to Account Settings > Billing
- Find the active add-on in the Add-ons section
- Click Remove
- Confirm removal
Removing an add-on disables access to its features at the end of the current billing period. Your data is preserved — if you re-subscribe later, everything is still there.
