Publish Jobs to Talent.com
Prepare eligible jobs, share your tenant-specific Talent.com XML feed, and understand what the feed does and does not publish.
Use Your Talent.com Feed
Kit provides a full-snapshot XML feed that Talent.com can crawl for your account. Use the URL that matches your career portal:
https://startupkit.app/careers/your-company/jobs/talent
https://careers.your-company.com/jobs/talent
The first URL is for a hosted Kit career portal. The second is for an account with a custom career domain. Replace the examples with your actual portal address, then send that URL to your Talent.com integration contact.
Important
A valid feed is not a publication guarantee. Talent.com controls feed approval, crawl timing, moderation, ranking, and whether a role appears in its search results.
Make a Job Eligible
A role appears in the Talent.com feed when it is published and accepting applications, and it has:
- a city, state or region, and country in Job board location, including for remote roles;
- at least 50 visible characters in the job description.
Open the job, select Edit, and complete Job board location. Kit keeps these structured fields separate from the free-text location candidates see and never guesses missing geography. The form shows whether the Talent.com fields are complete and lists anything still required.
Salary is optional. Kit includes it only when the job has a positive minimum, a recognized currency, a supported pay period, and a maximum that is not lower than the minimum. An account logo is included only when it is a PNG file. Incomplete optional data is omitted instead of being exported in a misleading format.
Understand the Snapshot
The feed contains the current eligible set each time Talent.com fetches it. Draft, paused, closed, or incomplete roles do not appear. Pausing or closing a previously listed role removes it from the next snapshot; reopening an eligible role restores the same stable reference number.
Each job link returns candidates to your Kit career portal and includes Talent.com source attribution. The feed contains public job information only. It does not send candidate data, recruiter data, credentials, or Talent Apply submissions.
Troubleshoot a Missing Job
If a job is missing, check that:
- The role is published and accepting applications.
- City, state or region, and country are all saved in Job board location.
- The description has at least 50 visible characters.
- You gave Talent.com the feed for the correct Kit account or custom domain.
- Talent.com has approved and recently crawled the feed.
You can open the feed URL in a browser to confirm that Kit includes the role. If it appears in the XML but not on Talent.com, contact Talent.com about approval or crawl status.
